BELIEVE IN THE LOVE AND HOPE OF GOD

A SAFE PLACE TO EXPLORE YOUR FAITH

AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY FOR ALL WHO

SERMON SERIES

If you were asked to describe a hero what would you say? Would you describe a female warrior, a bragging daddy’s boy, someone who critiques everything, or a coward who abandons his friend? These aren’t usually the descriptions that come to mind. In the Bible, however, God uses all kinds of people to accomplish his mission and purpose. Could the same be true for us today? Although we may be unlikely heroes, God calls each one of us to use our gifts and uniqueness to work with other unlikely heroes to communicate his message of good news.

Week 1: 9/27 - Samson, muscles, brawn, and weakness

Week 2: 10/4 - Jonah, stubborn and cowardly

Week 3: 10/11 - Peter, hot head and betrayer

Week 4: 10/18 - David, adulterer and murderer

Week 5: 10/25 - Moses, stuttered and nervous wreck

Week 6: 11/1 - Gideon, small and obscure
